Our content standard

Real discoveries. No AI-generated submissions.

FuckinAwesome is a place to discover human imagination, craft and effort. AI-generated discovery content is not accepted. Submissions identified as AI-generated are rejected.

What is not accepted

Do not submit AI-generated images, illustrations, video, music, or written discovery content. Do not present synthetic scenes, invented products or generated performances as real discoveries. This rule applies to submitted covers and media as well as the discovery itself. Disclosing that content is AI-generated does not make it eligible.

The limited role of AI

AI is used only to help search for interest and demand signals, surface potential discoveries, and moderate unsafe content. Research can point us toward a subject or evidence; it does not establish quality, prove a claim, or replace people’s votes. The interest meter measures available attention signals, not a forecast of sales or demand.

Technology is not the same as generated content

A human-made product can include an AI feature. That alone does not make it an AI-generated submission. The discovery and the material used to represent it must be authentic and honestly described. Conventional editing, cropping and formatting should not misrepresent the subject. If the origin of key material is unclear, it needs further review.

How the rule is applied

Submitters must confirm that their discovery content is not AI-generated. Moderator approval includes reviewing the source, description and media against this rule. Identified AI-generated content is rejected or can be hidden after publication. Automated unsafe-image screening is not an AI-authenticity detector, and review cannot guarantee every generated asset will be identified.

Help keep the standard meaningful

Report suspected generated content with a discovery link and any source evidence. You can also contact support@fuckinawesome.com. A published item is not a certificate of authenticity. Clear attribution, original sources and corrections matter more than claiming a detector never makes mistakes.
